Special Suppers

Special Suppers
within communities especially churches, "Supper" is the term used to describe a community meal, communal, with prayer/fellowship... This 'supper' is usually late afternoon, and may comprise anything from main meals to buffet style/cold buffet, or 'fish and chip dinner'[UK]. where such suppers take place on key calendar points; Easter, Whitsun [Day of Pentecost], Christmas...the dinner is usually around lunchtime/midday to mid afternoon. "Lovefeasts" or AGAPE meals 9from Greek, appertaining to a compassionate love (Agape), are another form of special dinner, which may or may not be tied to an outreach(blessing an old peoples home by inviting them to share dinner, dinners paid for- as example), charitable causes, tuition, community involvement or other church activity.
